Bottom results panel

The bottom panel is where the results of various Spider functions, such as search, are displayed. In most situations, the bottom panel opens automatically when you perform certain functions, however you can also display it using the Alt+F9 shortcut or the command found in the Display / View menu - the command icon is shown above.

The bottom panel consists of vertical tabs which, if clicked, display the appropriate content. The following tabs are available:

  • Link validation - tab displaying the link validation report.
  • Syntax validation - a tab that displays information from the syntax validation of the document.
  • Project consistency - a tab that displays the results of the project consistency check function.
  • Search Reports - a tab that displays a report on the operation of the search and replace and spell check functions.
  • Publishing operations - a tab that displays the file queue, the project synchronization report, and a record of Spider's communication with the server.
  • Help, documents, previews - the tab displays tutorials and courses called by the dynamic contextual help function, as well as online help.
  • Terminal - the tab displays the command line access terminal, where you can execute commands related to application compilation and other terminal functions.
