Version checking tool

You can use this tool to check if a new version of the program is already available. When you run this function, the program will connect to our server on the Internet and perform a version check. You can run this tool from the Main Menu / Help / Check if there is a new version. The command icon is shown above.

Spider is also equipped with an automatic version up-to-dateness check function, so you can already forget about checking versions yourself and rely on the program, which, as soon as a new version is available, will notify you with an appropriate message and offer to display information about the new version. By default, the program checks for version updates once a month. The frequency of automatic version checking can be changed in the Program Settings.

If a new version is available, the program will display an appropriate message and offer to review the details of the new version, which will be displayed on the lower panel. There you will find information about downloading the new version, as well as about the possibility to upgrade (upgrade).
